'Nissa Wintersweet' 1/1 is a 5.5" Original Teary Eyed Artist Bear by La De Da' Artisan Bears © FROM THE TOP 'Nissa Wintersweet' 1/1 views the world through shiny, black, hand crafted German glass eyes, surrounded by my sculpted signature upper and lower eyelids filled with wet looking tears. The nose has also been sculpted freehand. BODY This design was created in a faux fur which has been dyed, painted and shaded in textile friendly pigments and sewn entirely by hand by the artist, Bren Pollock, in hundreds of tiny stitches and is firmly stuffed with 100% virgin polyester. The arms are wired for posing options and to hold objects. The belly has been weighted with crunchy granular stones and copper shot for a nice weighty feel and for an old bear "broken" posture. This design was also stuffed with the highest quality lavender buds in the chubby belly. The lavender is imported from the Mont Ventoux region of Provence, France. Lavender is a La De Da' signature element added to many of my bears to enhance the "hug" experience with a gentle, therapeutic natural scent. Squeezing the buds offers a wee bit of relaxation with every hug. In addition, non-culinary Lavender is a natural repellent helping preserve and protect your La De Da' Artisan Bear for many years. DETAILS 'Nissa Wintersweet' 1/1 wears a pair of lace wings and a halo of green leaf/vines with faux flowers and a sash with the same green leaf/vine and twine, very much in the La De Da'© style. All sewn in. The little platform she sits on is handmade, painted, covered in a coordinated fabric and on the underside is the Certificate of Authenticity. This platform can serve as a base to display your new bear and also nestle it into the branches of a Christmas tree as an ornament. CARE INSTRUCTIONS Please keep your new bear from water, steamy bathrooms, moisture, etc. Treat it as you would any fine art, free from sunlight, moisture, etc. All of my designs are one of kind, no two bears are alike.
