'Manfred Ambershine'
'Manfred Ambershine'
'Manfred' is a 6.5" gold and cream sparse mohair, haute shabby bear, sculpted clay nose (no mold, free hand), leather eye lids, needle felted eye whites, glass eyes, hand sewn, center seam head design, hand shaded, stuffed with poly and copper shot for a cozy weight in the hand. His arms and legs are thread jointed and his head is wobble jointed for lots of movement. He wears a sterling silver talisman around his neck for a bit of la de da' flair. His eye lids are accented in sage. His paw pads have been treated for a wet/worn/shabby texture.
Someone on Facebook asked me where I get my bears names, and commented on the uniqueness. I make them up....inspired by my Native American and Scottish heritage, love for romance, fantasy, fairies, celestial, roses, nature and botanical themes...therefore translated to the bears names. I get chuckles from some of them....which makes me smile....I hope you do too.
Thanks for looking at 'Manfred Ambershine'.
