'Tanner' is a 6.5" light tan and cream mohair, haute shabby bear, sculpted clay nose (no molds, free hand), leather eye lids, needle felted eye whites, glass eyes, hand sewn, center seam head design, hand pigment shaded, stuffed with poly and copper shot for a cozy weight in the hand. His arms and legs are thread jointed and his head is wobble jointed for lots of movement. He wears a sterling silver/pearl trinket around his neck for a bit of la de da' flair. His eye lids are accented in sage green. His paw pads have been treated for a wet/worn/shabby texture for a "well loved" appeal.Someone on Facebook asked me where I get my bears names, and commented on the uniqueness. I make them up....inspired by my Native American and Scottish heritage, love for romance, fantasy, fairies, celestial, roses, nature and botanical themes...therefore translated to the bears names. I get chuckles from some of them....which makes me smile....I hope you do too. More photos can be viewed on the La De Da' Artisan Bear Fan page on Facebook or on the La De Da' Web site.
